Gianara Campasano, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University with her BS in Exercise Science degree in 2010. She went on to complete her DPT at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2013. Gianara completed her manual therapy fellowship program through The Manual Therapy Institute (MTI) in 2015 and obtained her status as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) in 2016.
Gianara currently practices full-time as the clinical director in an outpatient sports orthopedic setting located in Phoenix, AZ. In addition to her full-time work, Gianara serves as a Fellowship mentor for MTI and Regis University as well as a clinical mentor for the A.T. Still University Orthopedic Residency program. She has been the clinical instructor to over 50+ fellows, orthopedic residents, and doctoral level physical therapy students. In addition, Gianara is one of the lead instructors for a clinician continuing education company known as Mid-Atlantic Manual Therapy Consultants since 2016.
Gianara’s clinical approach is heavily focused on functional movement analysis and incorporating neurodynamics and manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise into achieving her patients’ goals. She has a passion for teaching clinicians and students to take their clinical decision making and manual skill set to the next level.
