Dry Needling
Physiotherapy is a unique profession in that we have such a commitment to enthusiastic and meaningful life-long learning and I am always excited to work with people that share my curiosity and enthusiasm for improvement."
Eli graduated from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada, with a bachelor’s of science in Kinesiology and after a stint in Industrial Ergonomics, he pursued a career in Physiotherapy. After graduating from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Southern California in 2008, Eli worked in the sunshine state for 2 years before returning to Canada. Eli has since finished his fellowship in Manual Therapy certifying himself with the Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). He has continued his education by taking several courses in advanced manual therapy, soft tissue and neural mobilization, as well as Dry Needling techniques, and has experience applying these techniques across a varied patient population including professional and high school athletes, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and “wear and tear” orthopaedic problems. He is currently pursuing his credentials as a certified strength and condition coach and continuing to look into ways we can help our patients achieve autonomy and “post-physio” success. Outside of work Eli can be found, although we think he would prefer not to be, hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors with his friends and family.
