Bio

Dustin received his B.S. in Healthcare Studies as well as his M.S in Occupational therapy while attending Husson University in Bangor, ME. where he also played lacrosse. Dustin knew from an early age he wanted to work in healthcare, however it wasn’t until he sustained a knee injury during high school that he knew it would be a form of therapy. While in school he fell in love with the anatomy of the hand and upper extremity and decided he would pursue a career in hand therapy. Dustin completed a fieldwork rotation at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH where he treated orthopedic injuries to the elbow, wrist, and hand that only confirmed his love for hand therapy.  Dustin furthered his experience when he began working as a hand therapist in Columbus, GA. Dustin has since worked to re-establish a hand therapy department in Texas, and become a certified hand therapist (CHT). Dustin has been practicing for 7 years, and has also served as the clinic director of a hand therapy clinic in Columbus, Georgia. Currently, Dustin resides in Tomball, TX and is working as a CHT and helping to build the hand therapy program at Houston Methodist Hospital in Cypress, TX. Dustin enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan and little girl, Emersyn.
