Dry Needling
Since graduating from the Hardin-Simmons Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program in 2007, Clay has 16 years experience as a staff physical therapist in multiple settings, primarily military orthopedics, and is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. As a PT for the military over the last 12 years, he has also been teaching functional dry needling with the EIM family since 2013. He regularly acts as a clinical instructor for PT students, as well as assists with teaching at his alma mater HSU-PT Program in Abilene, Tx. He finds that a sound blend of knowledge and training in manual therapy, dry needling, and pain neuroscience greatly expand a practitioner’s differential diagnosis skills; allowing them to deliver more specific, efficient, and effective treatment.
