Bio

Chris owns Advanced Rehabilitation, a sports & orthopaedic private practice in Tampa, Florida. A physical therapist since 1990 and athletic trainer since 1984, Chris earned degrees from Langston University, the University of Kentucky, and The Florida State University. He maintains active memberships in the American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society, the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Private Practice section of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. 

Prior to starting Advanced Rehabilitation in 2004, Chris worked as the Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, the clinical coordinator at the HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and as the Assistant Coordinator of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 

Chris has been involved in over 60 professional journal articles and textbook chapters with a focus on rehabilitation of throwing and ACL injuries. His publications have received awards for excellence in research from the Journal of Athletic Training and the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
