Bio

Adam Weaver has over 15 years of experience in physical therapy in orthopedic and sports medicine. He has a wide variety of experience with extensive training in manual therapy, dry needling, and strength and conditioning.  Originally from Maryland, he is currently a senior physical therapist at Connecticut Children’s Sports Physical Therapy working primarily with high school and college athletes.  Additionally, Adam has been an assistant instructor for Kinetacore (now Evidence in Motion) since 2010 for all courses. In the last two years, Adam has taken a more active role in research with active studies looking at return to play strategies after ACL reconstruction, and is the lead investigator in the application of blood flow restriction training in the pediatric athlete population. He is an APTA member and member of PRISM (Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine).
