This bundled pelvic health specific course series is designed to deepen clinicians’ evidence-based knowledge and clinical reasoning in pelvic health rehabilitation across a range of patient populations and complex presentations. Learners will strengthen their ability to ask clinically relevant questions, find and interpret evidence, and apply research to improve care for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including sexual dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic pain, and post-surgical conditions. Content includes abdominal, pelvic, genital, and nerve surgeries; pre- and post-operative rehabilitation considerations; pharmacologic agents used for urinary, gastrointestinal, pelvic pain, and hormone-related conditions; and the implications of medication side effects on pelvic health management.
The course also addresses evaluation and treatment considerations for pediatric patients, male pelvic health, chronic pelvic pain, premature ejaculation, post-prostate surgery dysfunction, neurologic conditions, and transgender and nonbinary patients, with emphasis on inclusive, evidence-informed care planning and practical application across diverse clinical demographics.
