The debate regarding whether dry needling and acupuncture are the same thing has been going on for decades at this point. The simple answer is no, they are not the same. Acupuncture is a profession while dry needling is used mainly to impact the neuromuscular system. Acupuncture and Dry Needling use similar tools but the intent is often different.
Rather than spending a minute on typing out the differences and similarities, join us for our monthly lunch hour where we will be talking to Rob Balkind, an Acupuncturist, who has performed both acupuncture and dry needling and will give us insight for how we can best impact patients and not be concerned about “turf” issues that take away access for patients needing good care.
Register Now for the Functional Dry Needling Lunch Hour happening March 28th where Robert Balkind will join!
