Dry Needling
Tyler Opitz has been a physical therapist with the RangeGoats GC of LIV Golf since 2022 and at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL since 2012. Tyler is the lead rehabilitation researcher at the Andrews Institute and has published multiple peer reviewed articles on orthobiologics, rehabilitation, and injuries in baseball. He is a board-certified Sports Specialist (2016), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (2017), Functional Dry Needling Specialist Certification (2023), as well as certifications in SFMA, GrastonTech, and Blood Flow Restriction therapy. He frequently presents at national conferences having lectured over 50 times at various conferences and has consulted with several NFL, SEC, Pac-12, and ACC football teams on rehab optimization. Tyler’s clients include NFL, MLB, NHL, UFC, MLS, PGA, ATP, WTA, Olympic, and NCAA collegiate athletes and specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.
He is originally from Kennewick, Washington, then moved on to play collegiate baseball at Dickinson State University in North Dakota and completed physical therapy school at The University of Montana. His hobbies include traveling with his wife, playing with their two dogs, Bentley and Benson, scuba diving, and taking part in any casual competition.
