Bio

Tyler played collegiate baseball, named 2x team captain, and is in the DSU Hall of Fame. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies with a double major in Spanish and Biology with a minor in chemistry, he attended the University of Montana for physical therapy school. He has been practicing physical therapy since 2012 working at the Andrews Institute for Sports and Orthopedic Medicine with world renowned physician Dr. James Andrews before the latter’s retirement in 2024. He has worked with professional, collegiate, Olympic, and high school athletes and has had trained numerous NFL and MLB draft picks making their transition to professional sports. Additionally, he has a passion for training and rehabilitating members of our Armed Forces and has treated retired and active duty servicemen and women from every branch of the military, including special operators with the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He has several publications to his name varying from orthobiologics in rehab, return to play outcomes, sports biomechanics, and more while working as a Rehabilitation Researcher with The Andrews Research and Education Foundation since 2015. Tyler has consulted with multiple NFL, SEC and ACC college football teams, special operation squadrons, and professional golf organizations in his career and continues to work to advance the rehabilitation field. Tyler has added to his repertoire by working in professional golf with the RangeGoats GC of LIV golf as the team Physical Therapist and Medical Director and is the personal PT for several players. The players he has worked with have multiple individual and team wins, several top-5 finishes, and many more top-10s. In his downtime, Tyler enjoys spending weekends playing “stickers” and backyard games with his wife, Amber (who is a OT/CHT), young daughter, and family dog. He is an avid outdoorsman and college football fan of The Washington Huskies and Montana Grizzlies. Whenever possible, Tyler and his wife can be found scuba diving, fishing, hiking, attending any sporting event, and listening to vinyl records. He expresses his most sincere gratitude and love to his wife for all she does and being keystone of the family and his life.
