Bio

My name is Elena Teodora Jacobson. People call me Teo. I am from the old country of Romania and yes, I was a gymnast. This sport drew me to physical therapy. I graduated from Rockhurst University in 1995 and returned for my transitional DPT from Kansas University in 2011. I have completed manual therapy certification through NAIOMT and received my pelvic rehab, CAPP certification through APTA. I am currently working for the University of Kansas Health System in outpatient orthopedics with focus on manual and pelvic rehabilitation. I am passionate about in clinic student teaching and working one on one with them to expand upon their didactic knowledge. Outside of my profession my passions include exercising, gardening, dancing, trail walking with my dog, and traveling.
