Stephen is a cum lade graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BS degree in Athletic Training and an honor graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University (now Georgia Southern University) as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has practiced in outpatient private practice since 2013. He continued learning through completion of EIM’s orthopedic manual therapy certificate in 2014 and earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation in 2015. He graduated from Evidence in Motions Executive Program in Practice Management in 2018. Stephen has served as a clinic director with Texas Physical Therapy Specialists since 2015 and was named TexPTS Team leader of the year and Confluent Health Team leader of the year finalist in 2020.
Stephen has served in numerous teaching roles during his tenure with Confluent Health on topics such as clinical application of exercise & manual therapy, critical thinking, and leadership. He began teaching in Evidence in Motion’s PTA orthopedic program in 2019.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife, Danielle, and 2 children, Paxton and Ayla. He is an avid runner and cyclist and has completed 3 full marathons, numerous half marathons, a half ironman and a handful of short distance triathlons. In his spare time, he can be found enjoying the outdoors, running, cycling, camping, hiking, or cheering on his favorite sports teams, The Georgia Southern Eagles, Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons!
