Sophia is a PhD student at the University of Utah, studying Biomechanics in Biomedical Engineering. She currently studies shoulder biomechanics and morphology, specifically in the context of trans-humeral amputees. She is a certified NREMT Basic and Wilderness First Responder, teaching Emergency Medical Response and Wilderness First Aid since 2021. In her free time, she likes to mountain bike, canyoneer, and paddle with her family.
