Bio

Approaching life with a curious mind and joyful spirit has guided Racheal’s career for more than 20 years. Racheal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and completed a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2007. She is a co-founder of Postpartum Support International, Alaska Chapter. She has presented at the Alaska Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Conference and has been a repeat guest on Alaska Public Media’s “Line One: Your Health Connection.”

Racheal is an avid learner and is continually expanding her clinical knowledge. The hallmark of her approach to occupational therapy is integrating a family and team based approach. Working in hospitals, schools, early intervention, and private practice, Racheal successfully applies her approach across settings. She is a DIR-Floortime certified provider and is regarded as an expert in trauma informed care and neurodiversity. 

Racheal believes that children are our greatest teachers and her three children keep the school of life real! They can often be found spending time in nature, skiing, hiking and gathering with friends.
