Marissa Dastice, MOT, OTR/L is a senior occupational therapist in the day rehabilitation setting at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Burr Ridge, Illinois. She is an innovative practitioner with experience working with adults with diverse rehabilitation needs. Her teaching experience includes acting as a teaching assistant for an online continuing education provider. More recently, she has joined Midwestern University’s Occupational Therapy program as an adjunct faculty member. She has co-facilitated online webinars regarding best OT practice for post COVID patient. She has also co-facilitated a continuing education course for best practice in Day Rehabilitation. Additionally, she has presented at both the state and national level on the incongruence between client and practitioner perceptions of the adequacy of addressing sexuality as an ADL.
