Orthopaedics
Katie Tutko received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lynchburg College in 2013, and received her BS in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2010. She became board certified in orthopaedics in 2017 after completing residency with Evidence In Motion. She currently practices in private practice in the greater Seattle area, with a special focus on older adults.
Katie is passionate about mentoring the next generation of PTs. She serves as Site Coordinator for Clinical Education, mentoring both DPT students, and EIM residents in the orthopaedic program. She began her role as EIM Resident Mentor Leader in 2018 and now serves as the Lead RML for both Orthopaedic and Sports Residency Programs. Outside of clinical practice she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in kids’ ministry, adventuring outdoors, watching college football (Go Hokies!), and quilting.
