Geriatric
Dr. Jonathon Weiss has been practicing physical therapy for over 25 years in the areas of outpatient, skilled nursing as well as home health. He achieved his specialist certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy in 2017 and has served as clinic manager, coordinator of education, and has led several initiatives involving technology integration and EMR optimization at Bellin Health, Green Bay, WI. He is an active member of the APTA, and served on the Wisconsin chapter Board of Directors for 5 years. Since 2017, he has served as the APTA-Geriatrics Wisconsin State Co-Advocate and was recently elected Vice President for the Wisconsin Institute for Health Aging Board of Directors. Dr Weiss is currently employed at Bellin College in Green Bay, WI as the assistant program director and core faculty for their Doctor of Physical Therapy program. His research is focused on the adoption of the Master Adaptive Learner framework into physical therapy education. His hobbies include vocal music, theater, and travelling.
