Bio

A 1984 graduate of NAU, John completed the Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy in 1991 and a Masters in Physiotherapy in 1996 from Curtin University Perth, Western Australia. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from EIM in 2012. John became  a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (member, MINT) in 2024.

John mentors for students in the EIM orthopedic residency and fellowship programs and the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship and Orthopaedic Residency Programs.

In 2001 John founded Body Logic Physical Therapy in Grass Valley, California. He ran the practice and has taught extensively for EIM since 2012 and Kaiser since 1996. John has now found his niche in working part-time, teaching OMPT and primarily Motivational Interviewing (MI) around the world in the past two years.
