Dr. Jennifer Welter, PT, DPT, FPS, DipACLM integrates physical therapy, pain neuroscience, and lifestyle medicine into a whole-person health approach for youth with persistent pain and chronic conditions.
Dr. Welter earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University, completed a Fellowship in Pain Sciences through Evidence in Motion (EIM), and is a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is the founder of Thrive Whole Person Health and practices at Kaiser Permanente, where she specializes in pediatric pain management and practice leadership. She developed Thriving Families, an intensive program for teens struggling with persistent pain, POTS, and hypermobility.
Dr. Welter is a faculty member for EIM’s Pain Sciences Fellowship, co-author of Ouch! Why Do I Hurt?, and speaks at conferences across the country on pediatric pain and lifestyle medicine.
