Dr. Soncrant received his BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo (Ohio) in 1995. Since then, he has earned his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy from Chatham University (PA), APTA Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, and AAOMPT Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellow. He completed his Doctorate in Science in Physical Therapy with Bellin College (WS).
His clinical areas of interest are orthopedics and sports medicine, focusing on running-related injuries.
In addition, Dr. Soncrant has an extensive teaching background. He is currently a full-time faculty member for South College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program and has been an adjunct for several other DPT programs. He also teaches in a post-professional setting for Evidence in Motion, Select Medical National Education Program, and is faculty for Select Medical’s orthopedic residency program.
When not teaching, Dr. Soncrant works in an outpatient clinic PRN and is a Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop.
