Dr. Elizabeth Lane has practiced in outpatient orthopedics since 2009 and teaching in post- professional continuing education since 2013. She achieved her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Lane completed an orthopaedic residency, holds board-certification in orthopaedics (OCS), and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Additionally, she holds certification in dry needling and spinal manipulation. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Utah under the direction of Julie Fritz, PT, Ph.D., FAPTA in 2020 with a focus on neuroscience education for those with chronic spinal pain. She has published high- quality, peer-reviewed papers in pain neuroscience education, management of chronic low back pain, and telehealth considerations. She currently holds a research faculty position at the University of Utah. Dr. Lane also received the Rose Excellence in Research Award from the APTA in 2022. She enjoys weightlifting and fitness, owning a CrossFit gym. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and level 2 CrossFit trainer (CF-L2). Finally, she works part-time in her cash-based PT practice.
