Dr. Daniel Maddox has practiced as a physical therapist since 2008 – having served in multiple capacities as a clinician, administrator, and educator. Dr. Maddox currently serves as Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education for the Brenau University Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Gainesville, GA, – where his primary teaching responsibilities are in the clinical reasoning, musculoskeletal, and pain science curricula. He has been heavily involved in post-professional education at multiple levels (residency, fellowship, and continuing education) since 2013 and served as an OMPT fellowship program director for nine years. He is an active member of the APTA and AAOMPT and has served in multiple service and leadership roles within both organizations. Dr. Maddox is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), and holds a certification as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS). He has been published multiple times in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at multiple state and national conferences. In his personal life, Daniel is a proud husband and father of two. He loves to travel, camp, and mountain bike with his family, and he is a dedicated runner and overall fitness enthusiast.
