Pain Science
Ms. Cobey received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University in 1988, her masters in exercise physiology from Ohio University in 2006, and her Doctorate in Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2023. She also completed a residency in orthopedic manual therapy from Kaiser Permanente in 1992. Her clinical focus is outpatient physical therapy and she has worked in numerous settings. Prior to arriving in Madison, she was the orthopedic lab instructor at Ohio University, teaching the lab portion of various orthopedic classes. She has also instructed inseveral continuing education courses, mainly focusing on manual therapy interventions for the spine. Her clinical time is spent in an outpatient clinic at the University of Wisconsin student health services. Her teaching responsibilities include foundational coursework in the student’s first year of a Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Wisconsin.
