Studies have shown that up to 98% of individuals with low back pain demonstrate at least 1 symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction, yet pelvic floor dysfunction is often underaddressed or not addressed in orthopaedic settings. Therapists report this is due to lack of confidence in identifying pelvic floor problems and a belief that only those who are trained in internal intervention can address pelvic floor dysfunction. This webinar seeks to provide practical information on how to screen and address commonly seen pelvic floor issues-and how to know when specialist intervention may be required.
