A Good First Post: meta-analysis

I am quite sure that many of you probably thought my first post of 2008 would be something about medicare and the increase in fee schedule vs. a 10% decrease and the extension of the exceptions process for at least 6 months.  As has been posted before, this was highly predictable and if predictions are your thing you can pretty much not go out on any limb with regards to a further extension of the exception process in 6 months.

No, rather than do something that simple, I wanted to provide an example of the power of Meta-analysis keeping in the spirit that this is in fact an EBP blog.  Meg Hourihan, took 26 submitted recipe’s for the best chocolate chip cookie search and the result is outstanding-and powerful!  I am hopeful that this will make it in an EBP curriculum.

For those of you on a some type of New Year’s resolution, just wait till around Valentine’s Day when statistically they are a thing of the past.
