One area that our readership has taken great interests is in our technology posts and consider this one the first of what might become “technology post of the week”!!

There is no doubt that consumers are flocking to the internet for information on health topics.  Current research indicates that two segments in particular (women and those with serious health problems) are the most frequent seekers. To support such consumer efforts, I strongly recommend that you open an account on Squidoo.  Started by marketing guru and author, Seth Goodin (by the way, I suggest his blog as well), topic (Lens’) are written by LensMasters who are experts at a particular subject area or who have an interest in a topic and post references to credible websites or books.  The number of Lens’ is growing exponentially and has far exceeded the original projections per Mr. Goodin.  When I started soothing my current addiction (Sudoku), I immediately sought help on Squidoo.

The current offering on Low Back Pain is notoriously slim.  Perhaps some of you can start a lens, becoming a published author to the world immediately and promoting both physical therapy and EBP in the process.  Other similar efforts for this type of “open source” communication of content is Wikipedia.  Thoughts?
