Sterling Eckert, PT, DPT, CSCS, is a physical therapist practicing at an outpatient FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center in San Angelo, TX. He graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Angelo State University (ASU) in 2020. In 2022, he joined the Doctor of Science (ScD) program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC). His current clinical practice sees various geriatric, orthopedic, vestibular, and military populations. He has further clinical experience in skilled nursing, home health, and inpatient rehabilitation settings.

He is currently a member of the APTA Geriatric Exploratory Taskforce for Annual Mobility Screen. He also serves as the APTA key contact for the 11th United States Congressional District. He became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2019, completed training through the Titleist Performance Institute in 2021, and was certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in 2023. He has taught continuing education workshops through APTA Geriatrics and Angelo State University programs.
