Live Webinar: Tissue Healing, Biopsychosocial Impact, and Management of the Injured Worker – A Pain Science Approach

July 6, 2020 • Pain Science • Brian Freund

Treatment of Workers’ Compensation injuries are often complicated by the perspective of the injured worker, as many are fearful, anxious, and confused about the process. This perspective will often complicate the case, prolonging time off work and further driving up costs related to lost work time. As health care providers we have an opportunity to develop a strong trust and therapeutic alliance with these patients through understanding tissue healing and biopsychosocial impact of the work injury. As such, we have an opportunity to impact the injured worker perspective on the overall process increasing our ability to positively impact outcome for all key stakeholders.
