Live Webinar: If Your Patient Leaks, Please Don’t (Just) Prescribe Kegels!

July 6, 2020 • Pelvic Health • Jennifer Stone

Urinary incontinence (involuntary leakage of any amount of urine, no matter how small) is a common challenge for athletes, postpartum women, postmenopausal women, postprostatectomy men, and many others. Learn how to comfortably ask your patient (in any setting!) if this is a problem for them, brainstorm ways to address based on symptoms, and provide them with helpful individualized suggestions that go far beyond the commonly prescribed Kegels (which, if used incorrectly, can actually make the problem worse). This webinar will appeal both to pelvic health therapists and to those in other settings who just want tips to help their patients to the best of their ability (no clothing removal required!).
