EIM Inside Leadership Podcast: Trapped In Stinking Thinking

This week, we’re going to talk about what happens when we get stuck in our heads and lose touch with reality. We can call this “stinking thinking”, or “thinking traps”, or even “story.” Regardless of what we call it, this can obviously cause problems. While our minds are wired to make sense of the world around us which, by the way, can be very helpful, our minds can also create a “negativity bias” and make things up about the future that may or may not come true.

Dr. Daphne Scott will discuss the background behind all of this, as well as some patterns and routines that occur, so you become much more aware of what your brain is doing. She will also share some tips and action points that you can practice so that you can slow down and get some air in your thinking!
