EIM Inside Leadership Podcast: Necessarily Ending Things

September 25, 2018 • Other • Daphne Scott

What’s one way to overwhelm yourself?

It’s to try to keep everything going when your main priority is getting squeezed.

This week’s discussion is about impermanence and necessary endings. It comes from Dr. Daphne Scott’s other podcast: The Super Fantastic Leadership Show. Her discussion with Marta Wilmes is about when it’s time to necessarily end things. With that comes the difference between effort (creating growth) and efforting (suffering) as well as hope and wishing, and why getting to hopeless matters more than anything.

They discuss where this topic came from, what it looks like for each of us, what we can do about it, and then they share some examples of real necessary endings to help you in your path forward to letting go.

With that said, the EIM Inside Leadership Podcast will be now airing once a month, starting in October. Look for a brand new Inside Leadership episode the first week of each month!

What are your necessary endings that will create a new and beautiful beginning?
