Today, we’re discussing Deep Leadership. Welcome back to the EIM Inside Leadership Podcast with Dr. Daphne Scott! Deep leadership is the intentional focus on leading with the greatest motivation in mind. It’s based on the idea of “deep work,” which is a phrase that caught on a few years ago. Deep work is described as working on a cognitively demanding task as long as possible without interruption.

As we know, distractions are massively unproductive and unhelpful. Today, Daphne discusses what distractions and interruptions can do to your leadership and personal life, as well as understanding deep leadership at a fundamental level – understanding your motivation underneath your leadership – in order to effectively and efficiently lead on a deep level.
