Alltop-We’re In!

April 10, 2008 • Health Care News • Larry Benz

It is with a great deal of pride and pleasure that we wear the Alltop badge (see also right side of this page.  As explained on Founder Guy Kawasaki’s blog:

Alltop is an “online magazine rack” that displays the top publications and blogs.  Our goal is to satisfy the information needs of the 99% of Internet users who will never use an RSS feed reader or create a custom feed.

The depth and breadth of topics on Alltop are impressive and extremely easy to navigate.  This blog is located in the health category along with other top feeds from all areas of healthcare.  Since a significant number of PT’s aren’t interested in messing with RSS feeds and aggregators, Alltop is a great “one stop shop” resource.

Any good product starts from listening to your customers and Alltop was founded on this principle.  As a Twitter participant, it was fun to watch in part this product develop as the contributors were experts or “users” who sent in suggested feeds and topic categories.

We are delighted to be part of anything that Guy is affiliated.  He has one of the most subscribed blogs (a practical blog for impractical people) and is the also the founder of Treumors (which he chronicled on his blog) and many other entrepreneurial start-ups.  His Art of the Start and How to Drive Your Competition Crazy are must reads for those in private practice.

Perhaps Medicare with all of their superimposed and illogical rules or any health insurance company could follow a similar format as Alltop.  It would indeed make things much easier to navigate.

We are confident at AIM that you will find your “hot button” categories and interests at Alltop-give it a try!
